  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Im looking to buy one within the next week under 15K miles
2009 4.6 w tech pacakge what is a good price to pay from your experience??

I love the black with cashmere interior I thought I would like black on black but I think the cashmere looks great

If you can get it for under 38, you did alright. And +1 on the Black with Cashmere interior ;)

Is this from a dealer or private party? I paid $35K from a private party for 2009 4.6 Tech White with Saddle interior back in Nov 2009. It had approximately 4Kmi on it. Not sure why they wanted to sell but I don't think they were in a crunch to get rid of it.

I would shoot for $35K or less....

Our dealer had brand new '09 V8 Techs for $37K, so I'd want to get a used one for at least $5K less than that.

My bad, I didn't see that you were looking used, my number was for a new one. I don't think you can get a new 09 for 32k as Disaster is suggesting.

Except I wasn't suggesting that. ;-)

I was suggesting you should expect to pay $5,000 less for a used '09 with 15,000 miles on it, than you would for a brand new one, with full warranty and no miles.

I just checked with Edmunds. They say the "Private Party" price for a used V8 tech with 15k, in "outstanding" condition is $34,500, and the dealer price is $36K....$38K for one that is "certified." I would never pay $36K as long as new ones were still on the lots going for $37K. I'd more than likely pay the additional $2,500 to get a new one vs. the private party price too.

Whats wrong with it that you don't like, the suspension? I might be interested as I am looking for a used Genesis depending on condition and everything. It has to have tech package though as I want the navi, if it doesn't then I don't want it. PM me with info on the car and stuff.
