This? Right above the latch on the "inside" of the lid? It appears to be a way to open the trunk if you get trapped inside. I'm not going to test it, though.

I have a 3.8 AWD Ultimate loaner for the weekend (SWEET!) and in my explorations of it I saw a bracket built in to the trunk lid liner and for the life of me I can't find out what it's for. I've searched thru the manual and found a picture of the trunk lid liner that showed the bracket, but I...

No, not provided in the US. Only Europe and maybe Asia. You can buy one from Amazon though. If you do a search here others have posted the model that fits.
