Out of curiosity I just reversed the order to descending top to bottom so it works. Now pushing the select button "Up" will increase the station count and down will decrease, for those that care about this. You drag the preset to a new position. I only have a handful, so it was easy to try it out.

Looks like there's album art now on some songs on SXM? Don't recall seeing that before

High praise for finally removing the tubes, the new interface while basic is more functional and tasteful and indeed, there is album art in the SXM app now, nice!

Yesss I noticed that as well even if it was very minor. I was like yea that's different.

Apparently for full screen Android Auto, you have to open the app on your phone, enable developer options in the app by scrolling down and tapping the version multiple times. Then, 3 dots at the top right go in dev settings and set video resolution to 1280x720.

I just installed the update on my Kia EV6 and they updated to get rid of the tubes!! They also added fullscreen android auto support so it now takes up the full screen like carplay does. The radio shows the station logo now instead of the old tubes. Hopefully this update does the same for the G70.

Okay, when I tried to update my G80, it said I already had the version I was trying to update to. So I poked around, and finally found a FAQ on Genesis Mapcare | FAQs / Contact Us that says the update is not yet available for all models. For my G80, it will be available May 5, apparently. Here's the FAQ:

Anyone experiencing issues downloading the update to the SD card? I am using my existing SD card which is about 29GB but says this update requires an SD card with a recommended 38GB.

I updated our GV80, but no joy on the G70. Tied twice, failed twice.

I did the update on my G70 last night. No problems, used the SD card that came with the car vs a new one. Download and Install went smoothly. I noticed you can now put XM in order you wish vs the prior fixed location. I searched a new resturant that opened in Feb that could not be located by name on the prior version and it came up instantly. Before I had to use address. Satisfied.

Why is it taking you to the sxm preview station? Is it cause there's no subscription or something? Just wondering. There's a place where you can hide radios, I think I hid AM altogether..

Thanks I update the software a little while ago. It took about an hour and 10 minutes to complete. I love that I can now reorder the presets.

Now they just need to add alerts to SiriusXM so my favorite artists and songs pop up when they are on like it does in Infiniti vehicles. I miss this feature a lot.

Also an update to add wireless Apple Car Play would be great. It can be done because my wife’s Infiniti 2021 QX50 received an update at the dealer in October to go from wired to wireless Car Play.
