Lol, yes $2200. I told the guy nice try and hung up...$2200, as in 2 thousand two hundred? Not $220? I think I'm going to have to talk to my service manager and see if we can raise our prices. We do the hitch and harness for around $8-900 installed. That's for parts and labor.
Even for that amount, not worth it IMO.Doesn’t it cost just 500 when it comes installed from factory
If you actually have need for a hitch it’s a bargain IMO.Even for that amount, not worth it IMO.
Picked up my 22 GV70 2.5T Advanced which came with a factory installed hitch for a $500 accessory charge to my price. If you actually have need for a hitch it’s a bargain IMO.
Do you mind answering a few Q's?I installed the Tow hitch wire harness from Genesis. The dealer wanted $2200 for the install, did it myself in 3 hrs with a lift rental, cost me $92 lol.
I was told it's fitted locally by the dealer (in Canada at least) and doesn't come installed from the factory, but there is an accessory price of about 850 canadian plus tax that is supposed to also include installation.Doesn’t it cost just 500 when it comes installed from factory
You installed on a GV70e, correct? My dealer installed my hitch and a 4-pin is saying they can't install the 7-pin harness (that I need for my trailer) for some reason. I'm looking at installing the 7-pin myself -- it looks like you went direct to the 12v battery in the rear in that 2nd photo? Any lessons learnt with installing your 7-pin on the GV70e that would be helpful for me to know as I look at mine?I installed the Tow hitch wire harness from Genesis.
