2018 G90 Carmax Extended Warranty by MaxCare, has anyone used Genesis dealerships with this extended warranty?

Hi, brand new, had a 2012 Equus for 10 years and my old extended warranty ran out back in February 2022. Sold that to CarMax and bought 2018 Genesis, feel very familiar. Bought the 5 year 100K extended warranty. I assume I can use at the local Genesis dealerships for repair as needed? Has anyone done this in the past using their RepairPal program by MaxCare that is sold by CarMax only at time of purchase of a Genesis? Experiences using RepairPal at a Genesis dealership?

I am not familiar with this warranty. I recommend you call your local dealer and confirm they will take it.

I did call the local Genesis dealership and they recognize by the name of MaxCare and not by the name RepairPal. They will take the MaxCare extended warranty to fix my Genesis when needed.

Better yet, take it to CarMax and they will take it to the dealer (if needed) for you. The advantage is that they lower your deductible and give you a loaner from the lot to drive till it is fixed.
