  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I had read an article about the GV70, but had not seen one in person. I live in Maryland near a dealer, so the day after Xmas, I decided I'd drive over and just look. I had never seen the 70 or 80 before. The salesman pulled a GV70 out to show me, but I hated the color. I said I would have to have a light color. He showed me the GV80 Advanced in Uyuni White, with Dune interior. I took it for a ride and knew within one block that I was taking it home. I love it. Of course, I didn't know gas prices would skyrocket soon after. I absolutely enjoy driving the vehicle, but hate the dealership. Also, I would love to have the retractable running boards that are apparently available in Korea.

I have the 2023 GV80 and love it. As for the running boards. I would be interested if they looked better. Even retracted, the ones I saw showed from the side. I like the ones I see on the trucks and large SUVs that retract and look like they are part of the lower rocker panel. I do not want to see a bar running along the bottom of my doors.

I added tint to the front windows and if you have not done that, it is the best thing you can do for the money. Still looking to get ceramic coating and I finally found a dashcam I like, so that will be installed next week.

Happy motoring my friend.
