GPS announcing Wrong Way Detected on all access roads

Where i live has an interstate running through it with frontage roads on both sides. The roads are two-way so that you do not have to access the main highway to get between stops.
Every single time i drive on one of the roads, the car thinks i am driving on the parallel roadway going against traffic. i have looked all through the NAV menu to turn it off but cannot find.

Anyone have a clue on how to turn that off or correct it on the roadway? the roads are not new and have been this way for 30 years.

Have you updated to the latest maps?
If so, you may need to point the problem out to MapNSoft. They have a link on their site to report map errors. Of course, it may take a year or three for them to get the correction out after you tell them about it.

We have construction on I-275 near Detroit. The soutbound lanes are closed and will be for months. The southbound traffic uses 2 lanes on the northbound side, so for about 15 minutes I listen to Bitching Betty say "Entry to wrong way detected. Check driving direction" about a hundred times.

Is there any way to turn this feature off? The programmers clearly did not anticipate lengthy construction traffic changes.

What happens if you turn the volume down to nothing while she is talking?

The radio volume symbols show up and it does not affect the warning volume.
