2019 G70 Infotainment Screen Delamination

Last week I went out and took my 2019 G70 Design Edition out on a few errands after having been sidelined for a couple of weeks by Covid and I noticed a small triangular discoloration in the upper right-hand corner of my infotainment screen. It has been in the upper 90s here in Michigan recently, but it's not the first time the car has seen those temperatures and with less that 9000 miles I don't expect that sort of problem to occur. I have an appointment with the nearest Genesis service department for next Thursday and I hope that Genesis will replace the screen under the warranty. Has anyone else experienced this sort of problem on a G70? I tried to attach a couple of iPhone pictures of the screen delamination which has begun to spread towards the bottom of the screen since last week, but the files are too large to post...

Wow. I have a G70 2019 and just last week noticed it as well and now it's spreading. Right side of screen also. So weird..

I had this issue on my 2019 and it was replaced under warranty.

Have the same issue as the OP. The screen is starting to delaminate in the top right corner. Car is currently at the dealer for this issue and a bunch of other stuff but should be fixed under warranty. For reference my car is a 2019 G70 Prestige with 14k miles and is in the Northeast so It doesn't sit in the sun the whole year.

Wondering the same as well, maybe if enough cases.. If we get it replaced now, does it mean in another 3 years the display will do the same exact thing

My guess is some OEM that supply these LCD panels to car mfrs have a quality control problem. My previous 2019 Mazda CX-9 had the same problem and replaced under warranty. Car was less than 2yrs old at the time. Very similar "floating tablet style" infotainment center-dash display.

I have exact same problem which started on top right of screen a month ago too and it’s also spreading. Taking it for a replacement too next month. (Hopefully)

We seem to have a mini epidemic going on here. My dealership is still waiting for the new screen to arrive and as of yesterday did not have a projected arrival date (at least not that they would share over the phone). Hopefully it isn't on backorder or coming all the way from Korea (or sitting in a container backlogged at a port)...

I have a 2019 G70. This happened to my screen in June also and I’ve taken it to dealer and was told it was under warranty. Haven’t gotten it fixed though but very strange. I was freaking out.
