  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Weird, never seen the G90 wheels on a G80.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

LWB quicker than the standard w/o the e-supercharger MHEV.

Disagree w/ Charlie about the Tau V8; the MHEV provides better performance, making the Tau superfluous.

Hyundai would have needed to develop a new FI V8, but that would never see ROI with oncoming electrification.

They'd BETTER offer those LWB wheels with the regular model eventually. 😠

Half way through May and still can’t order one, yeah doubt if this thing will be out by September in the U.S.

Performance? Yes. Sound? Hell no.

I understand everything has to be electric but I will miss the V8. I would have loved to see a supercharged "N" version. It would be silly, it wouldn't sell much, but man it would be fun.

Anyone have any news on when the ‘23 G90 will be available to order? Called 2 dealers and they have no idea at this point. Also called Genesis Corporate and they are figuring later in the year. All the press releases and media said Summer or Middle of 2022 though.

June 2nd since someone inquired about this?? Guess not many people are so hype about it, but I know I am!

Anyone heard anything new about 2023 G90 availability?

I'm hyped to look at it, but I only buy used. So far it doesn't look like North Americans got to even review it. All I've seen were videos from events where they couldn't really drive or talk about it. Once all the reviews come out I think you'll see people talk about it more.

Damn. Could this mean we're a ways off from it being available? I'm not familiar with how the stages of release for new year cars goes.

A lot of Genesis launches seem to be slowed down this year more than usual, no doubt due to the supply issues. Even the electric G80, which was supposed to be launched in Spring, got delayed into the Fall.

Nice catch! Anyone had experience with Genesis Priority One? Is it worth signing up for?
Very tempting but not sure what would be the MSRP plus the dealer markups and if there is going to be any incentives and finance charges.
In California the deposit is refundable so that is a plus and may get me to join.
Eyeing the E-Supercharger. Is it a plug in hybrid?

Unfortunately it is sort of neither. The battery is just an assist to the engine. I don't think it can run on battery alone and I don't think you can plug it in. Hope I'm wrong

So it charges itself like hybrid but it's not hybrid either?

I think so. The motor can charge the battery like a hybrid. The battery can boost the engine power when required. But I don’t believe the battery ALONE (by itself) can power the car, unlike a hybrid.

The 48V system is meant to power the electric supercharger and provide smoother stop/start and reduce turbo lag. It is not there for fuel economy. Other countries will let you coast on the 48V battery alone, but no automaker has this enabled in their US vehicles with the 48V system.
