Any ideas regarding the PIN number for the GCS. My ‘Genesis Personal Assistant’ scanned the QR code on the cars infotainment screen to set up the app, the app took a few hours to go live, and nod it asks for a PIN number to activate the functions. I’m not aware of choosing a PIN, or indeed how to change it.., whatever it is!
Any help much appreciated!

What Genesis model and year do you have? Is it new or used? If new, the dealer should have worked with you to set the initial PIN. If it is used, you will probably have to work with Customer Support to get it reset.

Thanks for the reply. The car is a new Electrified G80 which I took delivery of yesterday. It's currently residing at a PPF/Detailer where it's getting still Xpel application, and a Gyeon ceramic coating.
So far I only drove it from outside the Detailers garage to inside, and they are expecting to take a couple of weeks on the car.
Here in the UK we don't have Genesis dealers, just assistants who deal with everything over the phone. TBH I doubt the assistant I'm using will know the answer, so it will require him going away and doing some checking.
Hence the reason for asking on here...

If you can log into the Genesis owners WEB site, I do believe you can set/reset the PIN. Yes, I just checked. Go to MY ACCOUNT and you will see PIN. You can edit it there.

I have now been able to set my PIN!
I still can’t share my car with other GCS owners, which appears to be another function the purpose of which I have no idea. I might try resetting my mobile number as a solution.
Coming from a 2015 Maserati Ghibli with even by the standards of the time fairly limited tech, and being a fan of gadgets, particularly relating to autonomous driving, the Genesis represents a huge leap forward!
I eagerly await my car from the PPF provider, due in just under a couple of weeks.
One point I would make, as general vehicle sophistication ever increases, the handbook and general instructions for use seem to get ever more dire! At least there are some YouTube videos to help.

You need to add a secondary driver from the web site. Once added, they will receive an invite and be able to install and log into the phone app. You can set what options the secondary driver can have.
