  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I’m considering buying a 2022 gv70. It has the suade inserts on the seats. How do these hold up? Any thoughts or real life experiences would be greatly appreciated

You posted on the G70 forum, not the GV70, so you should move it there :). Having said that, I've owned vehicles with it, and I don't want that option again. They stain, for starters, and wear quicker than leather too. They make no sense on an SUV IMO, especially if you use it as one. And it's even worse on the steering wheel. I only like it on the headliner, and door inserts. They grip better than leather, and that's why typically only sports vehicles offer them, but you don't really need that with proper bolstering IMO. I opted out of that on my Porsche GTS (plus I'd have lost seat ventilation, since Porsche doesn't do perforated 'suede'). If you never eat or drink anything other than water in your vehicle, and don't use it to travel, and you take care of it, you should be fine. Unfortunately, if you want the top GV trim, there's no way to opt out of that. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. You are right, if you want the top trim you are stuck with it. Hopefully it will be fine
