  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey I just recently got a 2019 Genesis G80 3.8 Sport but I am a bit confused on a few things. I want to upgrade my brakes to drilled and slotted brake rotors and maybe paint my calipers to a bronze to match the outside trim, but I am wondering are the brakes that my car is equipped with bigger than what a standard 3.8 might get? If not then I might consider upgrading the calipers and pads while I'm doing it anyway.car-min.webp

The sport trim came with the 3.3T engines. I did a quick Google search for the calipers and came up with the part number for the 3.3T not fitting the 3.8.

I'm sorry lol I didn't realize they made a 3.8 sport. All the car websites say its a appearance package. It seems like the sport 3.3t has a different part number (58180-B1B33). The 3.8 and the 5.0 part number is (58190-B1A40) . Now I'm assuming at this point but the 3.3t has Genesis printed on them maybe that's why there is a different part number
