I like it...Snapped couple quick pics after black wrapping chrome and bottom Grey piecesView attachment 48809
How much did that cost? I know it is regional and all but just curious about ball park as I've never wrapped anything and I really want to do a chrome delete.Snapped couple quick pics after black wrapping chrome and bottom Grey piecesView attachment 48809

Have H & R springs arriving this week to lower car as well
I would consider this, but part of me doesn't want to try and figure out what the best matching vinyl would be... unless by chance you can ask your installer what they used?I paid 1450 for both the chrome delete above windows and all the bottom pieces done in satin black. Just to do chrome shouldn't be more than 200 i wouldnt think. It's fairly straightforward. My wife did her elantra herself using 3m gloss black vinyl
Gloss black is pretty basic for the chrome. It matches the black around it perfectly. Now the bottom is personal preference. Gloss black will stand out more but the Grey silver is more of a satin look so I went with satin black. They also have matte black if you have say one of the matte paint choices.I would consider this, but part of me doesn't want to try and figure out what the best matching vinyl would be... unless by chance you can ask your installer what they used?![]()
I am using the EV6/i5 springs.. They arrived troday. Probably installing ThurDo they have a direct application for our cars now or are you just going to use the EV6/i5 springs?

It will look good lowered. Please post some pictures. Let us know how the ride quality is as the GV60 Performance has the electronic suspension and I am wondering if the lowering springs will affect the ride quality in any negative manner. I had an ICE vehicle with lowering springs and it made the car look cool, but it changed the ride quality to a more "bumpy ride." Coilovers on the ICE vehicle would have been a better option.I am using the EV6/i5 springs.. They arrived troday. Probably installing Thur

Yes. I've had dealerships blame the most ridiculous things on aftermarket accessories. The trouble I'm having with my trunk latch was blamed on my dashcam. Are there potential warranty issues with lowering the car? For example, if you ever have trouble with other suspension components won't they try to blame it on the mods?
Oh my gosh you are giving PTSD flashbacks to my experience with my Kona EV. Within the first month of ownership I had to get the car towed in for a no start condition which would be eventually resolved 5 months later with a new 12V battery and BMS update. The battery was garbage from the get go. They tried to blame my dashcam as well but I anticipated potential concern well before I installed it. My dashcam was never directly connected to the car rather to a separate lithium battery as its power supply. The lithium battery was only charged from the car when ignition was on, so it was impossible to drain the battery as they claimed. Nonetheless the service advisor insisted he was the wiser at least until the EV tech told him I was correct. Then they tried to convince me my 6 month old battery was not warranty covered , ffs.Yes. If there is reasonable evidence to suggest the aftermarket component is truly the cause for the issue, your warranty claim would rightfully be denied. It all comes down to an individual's tolerance for risk and willingness to fight for appropriate treatment.
What paint did you use and what was the process? How is it holding up!I did a test dip of the front valence in matte black.

We haven’t had any bad weather yet, just nice days so I don’t know if the pounding water spray on the highway will do anything. I was somewhat surprised that the stuff stuck without issue to the ceramic coating though. Time will tell I imagine. What paint did you use and what was the process? How is it holding up!
That looks really nice. Mine is Vik black and I am getting estimates for having the trim wrapped in black. Not sure whether to go with a matte or gloss. I wasn't going to do the chrome since it might be too much black, but it looks really good on yours.Snapped couple quick pics after black wrapping chrome and bottom Grey piecesView attachment 48809
