  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello I have a 2011 hyundai genesis coupe 3.8 now I have a issue I can turn the car on and it stays on but misfires a lot. The car turns on fine after a few second it starts. So random injectors stop pulsing they lose 12v like let's say for example 2 on left bank and 1 on the right bank will lose 12v but then they will get 12v back and other injectors will lose the 12v like different cylinders. So 2 on the left this time or 2 on the right but different cylinders. I have no clue what can cause this. I've tried reasearching but don't see anyone or any cars with this issue. Please help

The PCM will shut down fuel to cylinders that it believes are misfiring, to try to prevent/reduce damage.

So I should replace the pcm ? It has new spark plugs but ran great for 3 weeks before this and it all cylinders doing this. Just can't wrap my head as to what could cause them to misfire

I was at a stop sign the it started happening flashing check engine

I certainly wouldn't start throwing parts at it due to random guesses. You need to properly diagnose the problem(s), and it you don't have the tools and/or knowledge to do that, you need to take it to someone that does. Paying for proper diagnosis will be cheaper in the long run.

I am a tech this has blown my mind only code I was getting was an exhaust code. No other code any other techs I spoke with start with the same thing about bad injectors but 3 are brand new and they are also doing it . Sparkplugs were done because of just basic matinence. I thought it could be crankshaft sensor but it should affect them all at the same time. Car thrown no other symptoms. Fuel trim is thrown off because they are pulsing weirdly and it won't stay in a steady mode long enough to get it done right car can also go 70mph but takes time to building speed. Since it misfires on acceleration so we could assume fuel pump good. Fuel pressure is good. Compressions good all around. I'm honestly stumped.

I am confused. You should at least be getting misfire codes, if not as the cause of the fuel being cut, then at least as a result of the fuel being cut.

Yes I'm sorry I do get the cylinders misfire. But there going stored almost immidiately when the Injector pulses again. You can actually see it happen in live data as they switch around as in the ones not pulsing then pulsing again
