Wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay

I was looking at the Genesis thread on Reddit and came across someone who mentioned that the wireless converter for Android auto and Apple carplay worked pretty well. A few days ago I decided what the hell and pulled the trigger and purchased an $80 attachment to make it happen. Just received it today and I'm so glad I purchased it. It's super easy to install, takes about 30 seconds, and all you do is pair it with your Bluetooth and that's it. It's way more responsive than your Bluetooth connecting to the car itself. This thing connects as the ignition is still firing up. I used to have to wait 15 to 20 seconds before my phone would connect to the car and it would show that it was connected. With this little device that I got from Amazon it's instantaneous. I highly recommend. No more wires for me!

Do you have 9.2 inch screen ?. Can you give more info or a link, what cost $80 ?.

Hello dfyffe. My 2015 does not have the technology package so I just have the 8" screen. My vehicle also did not support Android Auto with its original nav version so I updated it with the factory update. Here's my post about that if you would like to read it.

As far as the wireless Android Auto, I read a thread on Reddit about it and decided to try it out. This is the model I purchased from Amazon. It's $109 but there's a $35 coupon you can click to make it $74 plus tax. Can't believe I waited this long to pull the trigger. It works flawlessly and connects immediately when I start the car.

Just to be clear here...
The initial connection is made by Bluetooth, but then the Bluetooth disconnects, and WiFi is used for the wireless connection between the box and the phone after that. The audio quality is the same as the wired connection.

I have a 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan 3.8L AWD Tech Package (Canada) [Without the 92.in jog dial system] and I got an AAwireless for Android Auto and it works great with my S22u
The cable was so thick so I bought a right angled usb a to usb c cable for it to take up less space in the cubby area

Amazon has this A1A wireless Android on sale today for less than $50 with discount. Called a lightening deal. Don't know how long the deal will last. I recently paid $80 for one with discount. It works well. Mine is installed in a 2015 Genesis Sedan with the 8-inch touch screen. I don't believe it will work in the 9.2 jog system as it does not support Android.

You don't have Android Auto "wireless" if you are using a cable.

The cable is between the car and the wireless adapter. It is wireless between the phone and box. This fits the definition as it is definitely using the Android Auto wireless connection feature of the phone.

Lol well I made it wireless with the adapter thing lol, if I don't need to plug it in, then that's wireless in my books haha
