  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I was offered 66k for 21 V8 but told the dealer i pass. They said they will CPO the car for me and asked me how much i am willing to pay, but i passed
Don't know many miles but noticed couple of chips on the rear bumper when i was walking by the car so that with their inflated sell price made me pass.
What comes with a cpo designation? I bought an untitled demo, it was considered a new car with 5500 miles.

I think they registered it and used it to drive genesis service valet type stuff.

With or without maintenance, ae Trixie said, I love it! For the last month I’ve been head down on my totaled G80. Today, I drove my G90 400 miles out to berkshires and back home. This is a whole different car. Full size is the way! It can make a long drive enjoyable with luxurious comfort. A big part of me wants to put in the cold air intake and magna flow the exhaust on both sides, but I can see how my extended warranty would just be defunct if I had to put in a claim and they would just point to any modification on the car and say game over.
I have owned mostly BMWs and Caddy’s, I am a limo/SUV operator. I understand full-size vehicles, and I see how the engineers designed the weight, and if you can control the weight, you can make this vehicle do whatever you want.

Not sure to be honest
The designation certified preowned is for the second owner that transfers greater than one year and 12,000 miles, since mine was close, I just bought the bumper-to-bumper warranty up to 125,000 miles.

But if you can get the in-service date to be within that range of miles and year, 12 months, then you get 36,000 miles or three years of service and six years/100,000 engine and powertrain, I just dropped the hammer and went bumper to bumper because these things can be expensive

The Genesis CPO program comes with a 6 year/ 75k mile B2B, and a 10 year/ 100k mile powertrain warranty, a 191 point comprehensive inspection, free Car Fax, 10 year/ unlimited mile roadside assistance, rental car & travel interuption reimbursement, a 3 year subsrciption to connected services (remote start, accident notification, etc.), and 3 months complimentary subsription to Sirius XM All Access package.

The warranty is significant because, in addition to an getting an additional 12 months/ 15k mile B2B warranty, non-CPO used Genisises (Genisii?) only get a 5 year/ 60k mile powertrain warranty.

In addition, Genesis requires the CPO car to be in like-new condition. My CPO '18 G90 Premium w/ 28k miles got 4 new tires, new brake pads and rotors, an alignment, and all new filters before it was offered for sale.

Interesting, the warranty is longer than a brand new car...

Genesis/Hyundai doesn't do things for free. So I'm a bit skeptical.
It seems to be correct. But bear in mind that you are paying the cost of the CPO for only one extra year and the car is likely to be several years old so Genesis is only covering a few years.
