  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Okay, so title. Now that Bluelink automatic crash response and SOS is gone, it got me thinking, can you call 911 from Bluetooth hands free? Like can I use the voice commands button and tell the Bluetooth system to “call 911” would the system do it with my paired phone and play it through the stereo provided it had power?

Also, does anyone know if you can call emergency services from carplay with Siri?

Yes, you can tell it to dial 911

Thanks for the reply! This is for both carplay with Siri and the built in system, correct?
Correct.

That said, unlike with Bluelink, there is no automation of alert and the likelihood of the radio having a link failure with the phone is very high in an accident.
