  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G90 Owners - What did the Genesis replace for you?

I replaced my 2001 Toyota Corolla S with my 2021 G90 Ultimate. Still loving it. I'm a bit past a year of ownership and at about 12k miles. Only thing I could complain about would be the gas mileage, but I didn't buy it for that reason. It's a beautiful vehicle and I love it.

Love it! That is quite the jump.

With cars like the Lincoln Continental/Town Car and Cadillac Fleetwood, DeVille, DTS, CT6 gone from America, the G90 is an impressive way to get that experience (only better). What vehicle did you have before the G90?
I purchased my 2018 G90 yesterday, 31 Dec 2022. Traded in a 2019 Kia Stinger Premium. The Stinger was fantastic looking and always received a lot of thumbs up. The Stinger's suspension was a little too taut for my backside and I have always wanted the G90. Decided to go ahead and move up to a great traveling auto. My car before the Stinger was a 2015 Jag XF...which was a great car. I put a lot of highway miles on it.

Nice upgrade! If you had a Stinger GT, you might lose some of the sportiness, but just about everything else in the G90 is a few levels above. Enjoy!

I had a 2012 Genesis 4.6 V8 sedan that was stolen and recovered 3.5 months later but I had already purchased my G90 ultimate 5.0 that I absolutely love! No comparison!

Ready to buy 2015 lexus 460 f sport or Bmw 2018 740li

Test drove 2018 Gen g90 premium 3.3T 37k mi and bought it
Welcome. I had a 14 F Sport and sold it for my G90. Enjoy.

Not really. The G90 has a more spacious rear, but I only use it for myself so it makes no difference to me. My LS460 had air suspension, the feeling on the driver's/passenger's seats was roomier due to the G90s massive center console which pushes your right leg to center, plus the door panels feel closer to my left leg as well; the Mark Levinson was better than the Lexicon, and it had simple touchscreen interface I liked. The G90 wins on new safety tech, the HUD display, styling inside and out, and Genesis connected features. It's a close second on Comfort(Rear) mode, to the Comfort mode on the LS460 air suspension. I'm don't regret my purchase, but my LS460 was one hell of a ride, even 10 years later.
Air suspension hold up okay? I'm looking at used LS460 for less money or splurge for g90. I'd have to have thar air suspension.

The 2018 Genesis G90 Ultimate replaced 2006 BMW 750li

2016 Lexus GS350. I was looking to purchase a new LS-500 but came across Genesis and here I am.

2018 G90 replaced 2012 Hyundai Genesis
have since added 2019 Kona EV and soon a GV60

My previous vehicle was a twin-turbo Infiniti Q-60 Red Sport clad in Candy Apple Red.
Gimme’ an Airbus any day!

As the story goes....
An Airbus 380 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 800 km/h at 30,000 feet, when suddenly a Eurofighter with a Tempo Mach 2 appears.
The pilot of the fighter jet slows down, flies alongside the Airbus and greets the pilot of the passenger plane by radio: "Airbus, boring flight isn’t it? Now have a look here!"
He rolls his jet on its back, accelerates, breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to a dizzying height, and then swoops down almost to sea level in a breathtaking dive. He loops back next to the Airbus and asks: "Well, how was that?"
The Airbus pilot answers: "Very impressive, but watch this!"
The jet pilot watches the Airbus, but nothing happens. It continues to fly straight, at the same speed. After 15 minutes, the Airbus pilot radios, "Well, how was that?
Confused, the jet pilot asks, "What did you do?"
The AirBus pilot laughs and says: "I got up, stretched my legs, walked to the back of the aircraft to use the washroom, then got a cup of coffee and a chocolate fudge pastry."
The moral of the story is: When you’re young, speed and adrenaline seems to be great. But as you get older and wiser, you learn that comfort and peace are more important.
This is called S.O.S.: Slower, Older and Smarter.
Dedicated to all my senior friends ~ it’s time to slow down and enjoy the rest of the trip.

That air suspension was fantastic, but shocks and that stuff was going to cost a fortune to replace. Decided to trade in and enjoy my G90. Still enjoying, 2 years later.

Chrysler HEMI 300C. A great car and loaded with guts.
