  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am new to this forum just picked up my GV60 performance three days ago. I tried to engage Lane change assist. It was unable to activate it. My activation button is gray and does not let me do anything although the highway assist function is activated. Took it back to the dealer and didn’t really get a good answer. Does anybody know any tricks or is this a new issue.

If you mean that you turn on the turn signal on the highway and the car then moves into the designated lane, the GV60 doesn't have that feature. That is a feature of HA2 and the GV60 has HA1.

I was aware of that when I bought the car but it is a feature that I don't care for. I prefer to change lanes by myself.

They show it in the Genesis website as available in the GV60
I called service this morning and they said it is in the latest update which will download i will update this stren if it works

The dealership (again) doesn't know what they're talking about and this is just more confusing user UI. This should have been hidden vs just greyed out.
There is no lane assist (HDA2) at least in the US market.

The thread on HDA is pretty far back, but if I recal, there were some early deliveries with HDA2 then Gen pulled it because supply chain issues and of lack of sensors, not software. Without those advanced sensors, no update would be able to get us to HDA2. Easiest way to see if you have HDA2 is look at your window sticker.

There is no HA1 or HA2 option there only a standard option on the GV60 in america. I was referred to the dealer this orning who went over the car and could not figure out what to do. I called the service number and was told that the lane change assist should be working on the GV60. so we checked another GV60 on the lot and it has the same problem so go figure. I was told national genesis is going to address this.

Also what is needed for Curve Control on the ACC? Kia has that feature and I want it too!

HDA2 is a change of cicuit board (a series of chips), so hardware change required, then software update. Can't be upgraded OTA.
Thank you for the information. That is helpful but still disappointed.

I bought a GV60 Advanced model from The Cherry Hill Genesis dealer in NJ 3 months ago. So far it has been a huge disappointment, one bad experience after another. The 1st one a couple of weeks after I took ownership, it would not accelerate past 26 mph, some how the system impose d a limit at 26 mph. I had to pullover to the side and turned the car off. The last incident, I tried to make a right turn, the driver assist and lane keeping got activated caused the car to go out of control. The steering system and brake were not working while system had taken over control. Thank God, there was no traffic around that time. It finally stopped on its own after it went over the curb of the side road. The dealer is currently repairing and doing RCA I hope. Unless they find the root cause for the malfunction and address it , I don’t think I want to drive this car again.

sounds horrible, so far my gv60 seems quite a nice ride. Hope you can get your situation settled soon.

I was doing a search on this topic and was not able to turn this feature on as well. It is grayed out. Oh well. I have a late model '23 Performance I just picked up.

If you mean where the car changes lanes when it is safe to do so on the highway...that is HDA2 and the 2023 GV60 has plain HDA. You will have to change lanes yourself.
