  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

After trips to Genesis dealers and good mechanic, wipers still don't operate hardly at all. Anyone experience same problem?

What has the dealer done? Did they say they are working properly or that they are not working?
Original windsheild or has it been replaced? The sensor is up top, opposite the mirror.

I assume you mean in the auto mode where they turn on and adjust speed as needed. They are working in manual mode? Where do you have the sensitivity set? I like mine near the middle.

Over the years, only a few people have complained about them here. I set mine 5 years ago and never touch it.

A good rain will fix that.

Welcome. This topic has been moved out of the Community Lounge and into the second generation Genesis Sedan forum...

Mine have a will of their own as well... The only time mine are guaranteed to work is in the middle of a car wash!

I learned a couple of years ago: Rain-X upsets the sensor.
But being of an advanced age, I can't remember what the effect was.
Removed the Rain-X........things went back to normal (which never was all that good, still isn't.)
