  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys, looking to replace my control arms and i found this video really shows the breakdown of the spaghetti we have on each side.

What is the piece he starts hammering around the 3 min mark? Looks like a ball joint when I did some research but didnt know they were placed there

Also anyone looking to get a cheap deal combo (dont know how good the quality is but after some research online, looks like its split 5050 where people have used their products and had there been any issues, customer service seems to be great)

This is what you see at the top of the struts

The actual control arms on the bottom

The cars that I am used to all have/had a lower ball joint on the knuckle, about where that one is.
