  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Quick question: do you have to always get new TPMS sensors when you buy new wheels? Or does it just depend on the wheels you get? (sorry - just trying to get more info on this)

So multiple answers to this
so not always you may just need a new stem or just a sensor kit to swap over the old to the new rims. I ended up cloning my original ones to keep them in the original rims
These came off a newer genesis they switched frequency so the won't work for me
The frequency is either 315 or 433 hz

Thanks. I'm looking to swap my rims as well and came to this forum seeking more information. I appreciate the helpful info!

In your case swapping the oem sensors to the new wheels will be perfectly fine. Whats your plan with the old wheels?

Oh, that's great to hear!! Thanks. I am planning on selling the wheels that I'm replacing - hopefully I'll find someone interested.
