2012 sedan 5.0L cruise control suddenly stopped working and odd warning light on dash.

This Genesis has every imaginable accident avoidance device on the car. All have worked fine until today. Simultaneously, caution light on dash (SCC I think) and cruise stopped. Any advice or thoughts for repairs. It just happened and I haven't scanned the vehicle yet. Thanks

Check your owner's manual for the dash light that illuminated, might shed some information.

I had this happen on my '10 4.8L a couple of years ago. It was a crash avoidance sensor which had to be replaced.
 
Post a picture of the dash light. Then we might be able to help you.
