  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Before the G70 I had a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT with a fairly modified 6.0 V8 along with the suspension. Was a great car I put 300k miles on the car with no real issues, but it was time to move into a newer car.

Nice! I still can't believe Pontiac is gone... But, I'm confident the G70 will serve you well and put a lot of smiles on your face... I don't see many of those G8 GTs around anymore. They were so short lived. The Chevy SS as well...

Welcome! You'll enjoy the G70, it's a great car!

Love the car the interior is gorgeous and so comfortable. The tech is taking some getting used. The car is just beautiful. I love that where I live no one knows what it is.
Though she is so quiet both engine/exhaust and I miss my old sound system as I'm frankly disappointed in this 15 speaker setup the subs are pointless and the rear speakers might as well not be there. It is at least very clear and crisp.

The sound system may need to be reset. There seems to be a software bug that causes the sub to shutoff. There is a little hole next to the volume knob. Push that for 10 seconds with a paper clip and then see if it's better. I also adjust my settings so the treble and mid are in the minus and the bass +10. I was surprised how bad my 2023 sound was coming from a 2019 G70 but doing the reset made it better.

I'll have to give it a try. My system also doesn't seem to have some options that I've read others as having like the option to change from Stage, Reference and whatever the 3rd one is. I've followed the how to get there but it's not on mine. I was pretty sure the 2022 Launch Edition was supposed to have the premium 15 speaker Lexicon system. Which it's what the grills say and counting I get 15. Playing with balance and fade switching to just rear speakers is horrible. Sitting in the driver seat and I could barely hear it but going from "center" to all front back to center I never could tell the difference is sound quality or volume. There are 8 speakers back there you'd think they would add something.
Though it's annoying that it isn't nearly as good sounding as my wife's Veloster stereo it's a minor point over all this car is amazing.
