A big "family" sedan is what I've always wanted. So far I love this car. Smooth ride, plenty of power, lots of options. Everyone takes a look at it just like I did before I got mine. Not that I'm all about looks but you know what I mean ...
WARNING about Tarbox Hyundai of North Kingstown, RI.
They tried to rip me off when I financed the car. They gave me a monthly payment that ended up being $1152 ($16 dollars a month over 6 years) more then it should have been. Unless you have a loan calculator with you, you have to believe the numbers they give you. It's a shady business. Lucky I ran the numbers the day after I bought the car and found the error. The numbers don't lie, their payment was wrong. They re-wrote the contract with the correct payment. They also over charged me for an extended warranty plan which I dropped when they re-wrote the contract.
On top of that they wanted the car off the lot that day because it was the end of the month. I couldn't contact my insurance company so in order for me to drive the car off the lot they had to pay for an insurance binder. I noticed afterwords that they wrote up the 4 day binder as if I purchased a Hyundai Tiburon not a Genesis. I'm guessing it cost them less to insure the Tiburon then the Genesis.
So I have not received my registration yet but once I've got everything I need from the dealer I'm going to report them to the Insurance company. I hope they get screwed.
