  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi All,

White great regret, I must put my car up for sale. :( This 3.8 track comes with an extra set of rims and tires for the winter. 4, 19" TSW Croft rims mounted with Bridgestone Blizzak LM25's.

21K miles (all highway). Comes with iPod cable (never used), cargo mat, and carpeted floor mats. The car still smells new. :(

Asking $29k. I'm in PA (Pittsburgh area), so please contact me via this forum if interested.

I can't believe that I have not had any takers on this car. The car is on auto trader and I lowered the price to 27,500.

What price (sticker) was was it new? I would assume no bites because of $$

Ran into same problem with my other car. Apparently anything priced over 10K privately is not easy to sell because most buyer's will require financing.....If it was on a lot, I'm sure it would be gone by now!!! Think about it, how many people have 27k in cash or even the wherewithal to get their own financing!

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
You can get a used car auto loan. When I purchased my 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora back in 2005 I got a used car loan from my local bank. Interest rate was 5.24% back then.

It is a beautiful car.......But, maybe I can answer your question. If it were me, I'd rather spend a couple grand more and get a new Car with 0 miles on the clock. And if I were to finance it....a lower interest rate. Good Luck...Love the car in White

Thanks everyone for their response. I agree with what everyone is saying.

I just got back from a used car dealer and they offered 18k.

That's the first Track version i have seen in the white color. I kind of like it. I had been looking at the yellow. The track Coupe I am looking at is 32K on sticker and has been offered for 29K. I am sitting for just a little better deal as the 2010 models are sold. If it does not work out then I will buy a 2011 in the spring. I don't hardly see how you would get your asking price, but you could probably get into the low to mid twenties on it. Good Luck!

sold!!!....well......traded in.

Got $21,700 for the coupe and purchased a 2007 BMW 335xi.....white.

It's been fun. I hope all have fun with the coupe, but I just had enough with all of the problems with the moon roof, the rattling, the rust underneith…and all of this on a car that wasn’t even a year old.

hmmm.... so it all comes out when you sell it. The rust has me wondering...

Rust? On what and where? Where do you live? I live in CT (snow, sand, salt in the winter and plenty of rain- just not this summer) and I did a 4 wheel tire rotation while doing oil change last weekend and with 24K on the odometer- not a hint of rust anywhere.

Hope you like the BMW- gotta be happy with what you drive. Personally, trading down to a model 3 yrs old wouldn't be my first choice. Was it an even swap or did you loose your shirt on the Genesis plus pay cash out of pocket for the beemer?

I was hearing rattling when going over bumps at a low rate of speed. I thought it may be something with the exhaust banging against something. When I looked, I noticed rust on the exhaust pipe and on the arms.

I just got nervous because I owned a 2002 Sonata and had a recall to replace the whole underbelly of the engine. Inferior steel is what I was told. So for a car that is not even a year old and a car that I wash religiously......got me concerned. Although the delar told me it was normal. Sure....normal for a car that is maybe 5 years old.

Live in the Pittsburgh area. The rust was on the exhaust, the moon roof was shaking all over the place, the squeeks and rattles internally and externally drove me nuts. Just seemed like I spent $31k for a 300hp engine.

I went in with $4k negative minus $1k down, so $3k on top.... Wasn't too worried about it. Don't get me wrong....I loved driving the car...fast, handling was great, but time to move on.

Besides.....have you ever driven the roads here in PA.....GARBAGE....I should be driving a tank.
