If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. I’m interested in the gv70 gray matte exterior. Anyone know what the difference is in the makalu gray compared to the Melbourne gray? I know they switched the name a couple of months ago and I’ve only seen customer photos of Melbourne gray which is beautiful. Wondering if the new makalu is the same color under a new name or a different shade.

It's a bit lighter.

What color do you have? Which one is lighter?

Also love the light interior you have. Did you have it done after market?
Makalu is lighter than Melbourne (Almost black), I had nothing done aftermarket but the PPF covering the entire car (Otherwise matte paint is a pain to maintain), which doesn't alter the looks of the car and paint at all. The interior is stock Glacier White, kind of a light cream color.

Sorry it showed upside-down, not sure what happened...!

I actually prefer a lighter gray so that works out. So cool, didn’t realize they make that color for the electric models. Wish they had a light interior option for the gas one.

On another note, how much did you pay for PPF around the whole car?

They offer a similar light color interior in the gas version, the main difference being that the headliner is light as well (As opposed to a very dark blue, almost black headliner on the electric version).

The PPF was 8K (About 5K US), it's about 30% pricier on matte than standard paint, the film is different.
