  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Title says it all. 2021 G70. Did the update via USB. Now it says "navigation is currently unavailable please check the sd card".

Do I have to update the SD card as well?

You have both an sd card and a USB method?
I thought it was one or the other.

Re-do the update...

If you have an SD card slot, then your maps are on the SD card. You can update the software from the SD or the USB, but the maps on the SD card have to be up to date to match the software. If you have the SD slot, it's easier to just do all the updates from the card.

I went to Genesis Map Update, downloaded to my computer, downloaded to USB, downloaded to my car. It has worked great since then.

Yeah, the update itself worked fine. I was missing maps on the SD card. So had to copy-pasta them into the SD.
