  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I was on the way to work just now and my 2015 genesis 3.8L would not accelerate past about 50 despite me stepping on the gas 100%. Luckily I made it to work, turned off the car and tried again for a loop around the parking lot and the car was still not accelerating properly. I pulled back into the parking lot, turned car off and on once more, accelerated again and this time it worked & accelerated as normal. Wanted to know if anyone has an idea what this may be? Want to get ahead of this issue. No check engine light on.

Even without lights, would be good to check for codes. Sounds like it may have gone into limp mode.
