Too late for a download?

While checking SW updating in my newly purchased 2023 EV6-GTL, I figured I'd take a look at the SW in my 2019 G70's infotainment system. It was last updated before I bought out the lease (6/7/22). The SW version for the G70 is: 1K.USA.SOP.V129.220411.STD_H, and the navigation is: STD5M.Nam.GNS.220504.77fb23b. And, there is no SD card in the slot...never, ever saw one. So the question is: Is it too late to download updates for the 2019 G70?

No, of course not.
Systems without the CD player (with the SD slot), update via USB stick.

Just to make sure I get it right. OK, no problems with installing the latest updates. And, although my car has the slot for an SD card (but no card present,) I can still update the system using the car's USB port?

I think you need the SD card but check here for more info. .

Sorry, I guess I misread that. You will have to use an SD card to update. Install the updater and get a 32G class 10 card,

I don't get it, but it has mentioned before that the SD card was missing.
I'm going to trade in my Genesis with a value of $25k and buy another that will cost $60k, but I'm going to take the $6 SD card out of the old one.
