  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Personally, I feel it's far too over-done. There's just way too much "technology" - and I'm into high tech. For me, it takes long to load and too many things are moving around unnecessarily. I'm in a loud environment and can't think straight right now - but I think I'm getting my point across..

Anyway.. What's your opinion?

Still no threaded discussion boards and I really, really hate websites constructed with Flash. Plus, logins time out, and I hate having to log in all of the time.

I agree with this and in addition, I have been trying to email Jason the moderator for several days now and my messages are returned undeliverable.

They should have just kept it simple instead of going so ridiculously high tech. The web isn't ready for it. I see so many companies waste time and money on over-doing websites the first time around. They almost always redesign everything in a more simple fashion. A good example is http://www.driverside.com (a great site, actually). At first, it was as bad as the Hyundai Think Tank. Way too overdone...
