New Owner, so many questions

Hello forum,

I just brought home my 2023 GV60 Friday. I love the car, however, I need help with several items. Did anyone else experience problems with Genesis Connected Services? First, the car was not registering that we had a subscription. Then for a few hours, the phone app and the car were up and running. I could see the amount of charge etc. Now it stopped again. Second, the iPhone opens the car with Apple Wallet, but it does not recognize settings for the door or trunk and so on. Has anyone seen this? Does anyone know where to find information on setting a limit on the amount of charge? Also, does the GV60 have functionality similar to Tesla that you can set your leave time so that the charge starts closer to the time you leave? Lastly, in most luxury cars, when you unlock the door, the dome lights come on. I can't find a setting for this. Any advice?

What do you mean by it doesn’t recognise door and trunk settings?

Charging limits and leave times etc are all in the EV menu.

My interior lights come on when I unlock the car. Don’t think there’s a setting for it.

Did you buy new or used? Where are you located? My sales associate set up my account and initial settings. We even tried having the car back out of a garage while we stood outside using the key fob.

You can set the amount of charge for AC and DC in the car or on the app.

The app allows you to set the times you want to charge. Turn on "Charge scheduling" and then go to "Off-Peak Charging" to set the times.

EDIT: My dome lights come on when the doors are unlocked. There is a button in the car to turn this function on; see pic in post #9.

New. Denver. My sales manager tried setting it up but there was a sync issue that a week later still has not been resolved.

In Settings, we set up the trunk to open when I walk up to it and only the driver's door to open when the key/connect/wallet is detected. It works with the key, but not the wallet. If I approach from the driver's side, it works. If I approach from the passenger side, all doors unlock. The trunk does not work at all with the wallet.

Ok thank you for the note on EV. That looks like it has to be done in the app, which is not working.

UK working lights are Interior lights as in the lights on the headliner or the ambient lights? It's the headliner ones that don't come on.

UK working lights are Interior lights as in the lights on the headliner or the ambient lights? It's the headliner ones that don't come on.

The app in the UK is rubbish compared to the US version but in any case you can do it in the car under the EV menu.

The lights which come on when I unlock the car are the white lights in the centre of the roof between the two front seats. Not sure about the rear ones.

I checked and my lights do come on when the doors are unlocked. Check to see if the top right button is illuminated.

I think, for the overhead console lighting, you have to turn them on (touching the button), leave them on & then try locking & unlocking. I think it is like an initialization step, try that.
