Is it common for a 2015 Genesis sedan 3.8 rear wheel drive engine to develop a coolant leak at the rear top section of the engine. My coolant pipe gasket had to be replaced.
The odd thing about this vehicle is when I purchased it new, the engine coolant temperature was always two bars below the middle of the temp gauge. About sixty thousand miles while driving there was a pop sound the coolant pipe gasket. At that point the temperature then read normal range just at one bar below center just like any other car I have owned. But at that time there is a smell of antifreeze and leaking.
Can anyone give me any answers?????
Thanks
