  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Electric GV70

Do any of my fellow Canadian eGV70 owners have an electronic copy of the owner's manual? I couldn't find it on the Canadian Genesis website.
^ SebringSilver, this is in response to an older query of yours (i.e. Aug. 10, 2023) that you posted in this thread. I discovered today that Genesis Canada has finally made available a digital version of the owner's manual for both the 2023MY and 2024MY Electrified GV70. For convenience here's a direct link to Genesis Canada's "Vehicle Manuals" webpage: Download GENESIS Catalogue | Genesis Canada

I got this one:

Happy they delivered to Canada as well (As this item is not sold on amazon.ca)!

The only issue I had was when I started the car in an undergroung parking, but later on unplugging and replugging settled everything.
Thanks for that. :)
Btw.. does the dongle fit okay inside the wireless phone charging compartment with your phone on the charging pad? Can you close the compartment cover with the dongle (and phone) inside the compartment?
Thanks, Richard

Yes, everything fits, the wire of the dongle is roughly 4" long (Pretty short) and the dongle about 2" in diameter, about the same size as a Chromecast dongle! I actually have both the dongle and a 3' charging cable next to it rolled on itself and still room for my phone on the pad without any issues closing the lid!

I'm definitely going to get an EV and it looks increasingly like it'll be the GV70 (I was considering the GV60, but really can't deal with the absence of a rear wiper).
I am the proud owner of a GV60P and I don't mind not having the rear wiper at all. But, then again, unfortunately it rarely rains on the plains of Arizona.

The shape of the GV60 (With its small integrated spoiler) and its twin, the EV6, make it less prone to dust accumulation in the back as the 3rd member of the family, the Ioniq5 (Come to think of it, even a Civic sedan has a pretty long rear window without any wiper). That said, in an area where you can get snow, the absence of a rear wiper is a big no-no...

Unfortunately for those of us in Vancouver where it does rain a LOT, rear visibility is pretty important. Last night, it was coming down in buckets and if I don't turn on the rear wiper I literally can't see anything out the back. Not hating on the GV60 at all, but I do wonder how those drivers in similar climate as what we have here actually deal with rear visibility. And it hasn't even snowed yet this year.

Well, I got my winter tires and wheels installed this past week. Blizzak tires (255/50R 19 DM-V2) and Euro Design Tech Matte Black Machined 19 X 8.5 Wheels from WheelWiz. Now the only thing left to do is buy some floor mats. I'm waiting for the Tuxmats and hopefully they will be available soon.

^ Further to my previous post #421...
Fyi - After playing around with both pdfs, I've discovered that the 2023MY digital owner's manual from Genesis Canada is missing the entire "Index" section. No such problem with the 2024MY digital owner's manual. I've also discovered the 2024 digital manual pdf uniquely allows the user to enter (and jump to) a specific chapter & page by entering the desired chapter-page combo (e.g. 5-9) into the toolbar "page" area and then pressing the ENTER key on the keyboard. Very convenient. Note that I use Adobe Acrobat Reader to open pdf documents on my computer.

Hmmm... works the same way for both versions on my phone. I did notice, however, that the 2023 version is 17mb while the 2024 version is 9.2mb.

I sent Tuxmat an email a few weeks ago. They said the mats should be available by the end of Nov/beginning of December.

Drove the Uyuni White one today. I can't get over how good it looks.

That pearl effect in the paint is gorgeous! And the comparison with the German competition parked right behind it can't be avoided, Genesis pulled off its own much more inspired design (Even when comparing with the coupe version of these SUV's)...!
