  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What have you done to your GV60 today?

Looking to make your GV60 unique? Look no further than KDM Warehouse - where orders are shipped immediately!
How about here? From this very Forum, or an affiliate of. If you just go to the menu banner at the top of the page and hit "GENESIS STORE". Mine has prices in GBP but I am sure if you are in the USA it'll show prices in USD. There's even some photos of various Genesis vehicles wearing these emblems on their backsides! Hope this helps you out.

The look of the grill is fine in my eyes...
It's the cleaning of the grill that I mind. It's got like ten thousand little openings for bugs to get slaughtered, and dirt to collect in, and each one is a b1tch to clean out.

Anyone rocking a bra on theirs to stop the bugs? Do those even exist? (leaves and googles).

Yeah, I'd love to know as well.
Bugs come off the nose pretty well once it's had a ceramic coating or two, but that grill is a pain! Bits and pieces get stuck behind the cross-hatch. Ugh...

Bras tend to collect grime underneath and hold it against the paint. I imagine a bra would be nearly impossible, given the active vents in the grille. How do you allow air through, but not sand, salt, etc?
PPF and/or ceramic coating would be much more effective choices, which is why they are now found on vehicles at ~10X the rate of bras.

I applied a vinyl decal to both rear quarter windows on my GV60. I've always thought the car looks like a spaceship, so this complements the theme. In case anyone isn't a Trekie, the decal is a minimalist Starfleet insignia from Star Trek.

I think we should dedicate a topic to post things you have modified on your GV60. Post those pics, would love to see some new wheels or wraps.
I changed the logo badge on the rear hatch. Much cleaner look. What do you think?

That looks cool! Is that the OEM badge for the hood?

Great. And I would love to do this, but how do I remove the Genesis letters that are there now?

Fishing wire or dental floss and a little GooGone or WD40. There's also this kit that comes with everything you need:

It’s easy. Just use a blow dryer to heat up each letter and use a plastic scraper to pop off the letters. I used goof off adhesive remover to clean up the area.

I've had the car for quite some time now but just started to do some mods. Changed the wheels and tires and makes a huge difference in terms of ride comfort. Went from 21s to 19s. Not so sure about mileage gains. I'll probably black out the roof and chrome next.gv60.webp

Love the wheels, looks great, and I agree... even dropping from 20" to 19 made a difference in ride and road noise for me. I did gain mileage, and you should see an improvement as well.

Looks really good. Why didn't you black out the chrome strip above the windshield if you don't mind me asking?
hahaha, good eyes, I run out the material, will try to get that part done this weekend. :)

I think that is the most important part to black out. Great job.
