  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The power locks both opening and closing work sporadically. The car is a 2012 4.6, is there a place to start to find a fix? Thanks.

On today's trip, we set the wayback machine to 2011 when I had the rear pass actuator go bad on my '09, about a week after I had bought it used via private sale. The repair of course was covered under factory 5/60 BTB warranty.

After the usual easy money fuse box check, I'd check the bits in the doors. Easy enough to test power/ground/polarity from the harness (DDM), as well as isolate and test each component, but probably have to pull the door trim. Relevant manual pages are below. Bring a multimeter with a set of backprobes, a test light, and a of course a set of trim tools and plenty of spare clips.

Where are you guys getting service manuals? I need one for GV70 - saw some other posts but for older models.

For a while, Hyundai posted them on-line free of charge, but that was before the GVs. Hyundai has a site that you can pay for access (a day, a week, a year), but I recall it being kind of expensive. Alldata may have mostly the same info for less.
