  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi!
I'm from DC area and have a 2022 G70.
I'm at dealer having sensor activation issues.

Specific issue was: Left front sensor always activate when the foot brake is applied/on (both physically and with auto hold). It continues (to sound/flash) until brake is off and car starts moving. It also has stayed on/activated when car is moving in reverse.pecific issue was:

Dealer said at first (prior to inspecting) that it's common/normal for Genesis autos to have false alerts from sensors. Upon checking, dealer found sensor defective. So as normal, they did not have the part and I need to return. That's the latest.

It also has stayed on/activated when car is moving in reverse. Brought to dealer, they confirmed faulty sensor, ordered new sensor, sensor received by dealer and now waiting to schedule an install appointment.
