  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have 2019 black 3.3T model and the paint and finish above the lights and grill has completely faded and is rough to the touch. It looks horrible and I've searched and found several reddit posts on this too. It seems the 2019 models are aging into this and of course it is past the warranty...mine started a little after 50,000 miles. I've opened a case with Genesis who says the dealership needs to put in a warranty waiver and do the work. My issue is that there has been no accidents, etc. and the car is in the garage whenever I'm home. Genesis will definitely not make it in the luxury market if their body work degrades this bad after a few years. Anyone else having this issue?

Im the original owner of a 2019 in Himalayan Grey and am experiencing the same issue. The car has been hand washed or touchless automated for car washes. Its fading by the light and is very rough to touch. I see their was a class action lawsuit in NY which may have been recently settled. That may be the way to go. Also recently, on the rear bumper on the sides of where the bumper film protection ends, it's starting to fade and become rough just like the front. Genesis needs to step up if they want me to purchase another.
