Android Auto will it work with HUD?

Correct. I imagine you can program the computer but so far, it is not done.

My Audi did not do it with their HUD either. Audi also had a turn by turn on the digital dash that did not work with AA and it only worked with their map system..

It didn't work on my Stinger or Sonata either unfortunately.

It would be nice if they did. At the Lucid forum there is a Lucid employee who monitors the posts and sends private messages to forum members who have intractable issues with the company. Calms the water.

This week there was an OTA update to the infotainment system and the HUD has now a pleasing light teal color for the HUD display info. In addition when Android Auto is on I didn't like what was displayed on the little space to the right of the AA map. It just had the choice of FM Radio, Compass and Clock. After fiddling with the settings I found out that if you have a route in the Genesis Map plus you run AA, then the HUD will show the Genesis routing plus the navigator can look at the AA routing on the infotainment screen. Works for me as the wife drives and likes the HUD displaying the routing, since she doesn't have to take her eyes of the road, and me the navigator gets to monitor the progress to the destination.

That's nice, I need to try again. In the past, on my EV6 once you start navigating on Google Maps it disengages the built on navigation

It works on a 2024 F150 HUD so it is possible but it definitely doesn't work on my Genesis or any I have driven.

HUD plus Waze Alerts

I should have thought of this earlier but now I use it whenever I go on a longish drive. I like having the Waze police, speed cameras, crashes, disabled vehicle alerts, etc in Waze but I have no use for the Waze navigation. I much prefer the HUD and the native Genesis navigation with it’s audio...

My friend who has a 2024 Lincoln Corsair he says that Android Auto works on his HUD. I was really surprised by that. First thing I said was “how did they do that”. It would be interesting to know which brands can actually do that. I personally think it would be beneficial
