  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The bulbs do not last long. Does anyone have a good replacement for the front turn signal bulbs on a 2015 Genesis 5.0?

Improper wiring from factory due to change in bulb type available at launch. Replace with LED versions, but may need to change polarity of the receptacle in some cases. Easy to do, but a little tight for space.

Interesting. Had the 2015 3.8 AWD Ultimate and no bulb issues in over 100k miles.

My 2015 3.8 AWD has been eating turn signal bulbs like candy for years. I finally decided to just leave my headlights on full time so the turn bulbs are only active for turn signaling. No more using for DRL.

Ah - that might be it then.... I got into the 2015 Genny from a 2011 Azera - and found that on both models a "better" DRL was achieve by rolling the headlight switch all the way forward, and then going back 1 notch - to the "parking" lights. When I shut off the car and open the door - those lights go off too. I would run them without the headlights during the daytime, then I just click forward 1 notch for night. Worked out nice, and also allowed me to do this mod with some impressive results: (#easy) You want a LED DRL on your US Genesis? Read on.
