serpentine belt issues anyone?

i recently i had to change my belt so i went to lordco to buy the oem replacement and notice it was shorter then the stock one so improvised since its the last one available in british columbia allegedly.

can anyone tell me if this is safe or do i need to order one from the delership

Came to the conclusion though, I routed it the same way in picture you posted, when putting it back on but it's almost like the belt just isn't long enough to do the factory installation
