  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Total Eclipse

What an awesome day that was! I was visiting friends in western Ohio, and got to experience the eclipse from there. Totally surreal experience. 😁
It was so cool!

Some cool pix - but this one from there just makes me shake my head. A bunch of NASA engineers standing together while collectively pointing at the sun that has been there the entire time. LOL

This should really make you shake your head then, blaming the eclipse on climate change...

Oh yeah - I saw that yesterday. But that is par for the course with about 98% of what comes out of that show.

Yeah, that picture HAD to be staged.

I'd LIKE to believe that... but the collective stupidity of people can sometimes be overwhelmingly shocking. Case in point - per LTT Technews...

Google searches in the US and Canada for "eyes hurt" spiked ridiculously during the eclipse. As the host said, "Nothing makes me lose faith in humanity more than people being confused at having eyeball pain after they optically raw-dog the sun."

Yeah, I can't remember exactly who said this first, but there's a saying that goes something like, "If you make everything idiot-proof, the world will just make a bigger idiot"...
