  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

At only 68k with 10 years of usage with the car otherwise functioning well, can I wait on the spark plug....they say they have to change the gasket too. Quoting 1800 bucks for this..ouch

I’m at almost 216K miles and mine are original.

I changed mine at 102k mi. Service interval is 105kmi. Doing it any sooner on a car in otherwise good shape is a waste of $ and resources, IMO.

I think I paid around $500 P&L at the dealer. $800 is a ripoff IMO.

That’s ridiculous. You can research and replace the parts yourself For a ton less. My theory if it isn’t broken, don’t try to fix it. I’m on a trip heading back tomorrow and got 31.9 mpg with the car loaded and A/C running with almost 216K miles. She runs as good now as it it did as new.
