  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

About 70k on it. Any words of caution or screams of NO? All seems well with the candidate. I currently have a 2012 Genesis 3.8 sedan, 120K and I love it. Son needs a car so I was going to upgrade and pass the 2012 to him.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

My 2015 5.0 Ultimate is mechanically sound for the most part @ 121K... I do have some odd shifting behavior on occasion, prob need to drain & refill the trans again. 3rd & 5th solenoid replacement is likely in the cards eventually but I hear it's a fairly easy job & there's a TSB on it.

It's mostly the bits attached to the car that I have issues with - a malfunctioning front parking sensor, the passenger mirror that no longer adjusts from side to side and the common perishing of the 3rd brake light gasket. Also, some parts take some searching to obtain...

i have the same car, i bought it when it had 26k i got the extended warranty ( 10years,100k miles) i now have 66k on it , the only thing that i have wrong is the noise about 30mph i was told it was prop shaft . i had it in and they cant find anything ,

I've put around 10k on a 2015 3.8 Ultimate-it had 44k when I bought it eight months ago. Replaced front pads, added a pedal commander, replaced plugs, and air filter/cabin filter-the only thing that has broke was the rear passenger side door handle-used epoxy and ca glue to fix it :) Love the car!

Thanks so much. I have never seen the pedal device. Will check it out!

We have a 2015 3.8 Ultimate with 76K miles purchased as a cpo in 2018, and overall love it. Runs like a top, fast, quiet, and comfortable with lots of tech and nannies.

Had the rear differential replaced under warranty due to a harmonic hum. Rubber around 3rd brake light and trunk latch disintegrates but relatively easy to replace. front drl turn signal bulbs burn out often but cheap and easy to replace.
Did front brakes at 54K,, rear brakes are still original if you can believe it, but just bought a new rear kit. Original battery still kicking, lol.

Overall a great car with classic sport sedan lines and tons of tech. You will enjoy it.

It makes a world of difference in the car :) What color is the DH you're looking at?

I guess it's called Parisian Silver with light interior... Although sometimes from pics it looks like it has a blue hue to it. Had Lemon Squad do a presale inspection so I think we're getting close.

The tech is great for me and has me spoiled now :)
The three cosmetic items I've added to mine have been a small rear roof spoiler and the velossatech intake/led system (mostly for the leds), and a set of stock 19" wheels:
