Windshield cracking noise ( hot weather)

I just got my Genesis g70 2023 6 months ago and when the weather get hot or the sun is out I keep hearing cracking noise from the windshield and popping noise … went to the dealership and they couldn’t figure out … anyone has same issue or some advice

If you have a panoramic sunroof that is likely where it is coming from. They are notorious for it all the way back to 2015.

Yes I do have panoramic sunroof but seems the sounds come from the windshield? Any tips or hint how to fix it ?

You have a sunroof but it’s not panoramic because they don’t make one. I have the exact same problem and it comes from the front of the sunroof but not sure why. I’ve been waiting to read on here if someone has found a solution.

Same as mine and now my car in the dealership and they keep denying that there is any problem??? Anyone knows where exactly the noise come from

What ever considered… just so annoying and the Hyundai Genesis keep denying and bad customer service … I do have complaint case and it’s not worth it bcz the don’t care about thier clients… very poor customer service

Whatever panoramic or no … this noise is killing me and so annoying seriously anyone suggesting or ideas? Any mechanic can help or glass shop

I had the same issues with popping and cracking......I fixed the loudest ones by spraying WD40 on the outside window edges on both front and back....yes outside the car. I noticed when I washed the car the cracking sound where mostly gone or muted. I assume the material around the outside edges of the windows were probably hitting the against or sticking to something..??? call it crazy

But it certainly helped, but as you guys are saying it mostly happens in the hot weather. Expansion and sticking with the areas with molding.

Also, i rubbed some also on the sunroof molding to help.

New update : I took it to another diagnosis and they had to reseal the windshield and clean the frame … they found empty spots on my windshield and while they doing it , they broke it and now they order new windshield and it’s like a circus … but finally I got the chance to find the issue and why making noise … if you guys face same issue make sure to tell your dealership that they’re gaps between the windshield and the headliner .. and they have to reseal it

My sunroof has a loud crack if I turn on a steep incline. Sounds like the sunroof is adjusting or something. Doesn't bother me since it's not very often, but it is kind of unsettling. Also have an occasional cracking coming from the front windshield area, but rare. Not anything I'd want a dealer to mess with and make worse.
