Add to the discussion the need (at least in the states) for a crackdown on juvenile a$$holes with big jacked up coal-rolling dually pickups who think it’s fun to deliberately block access to chargers and vandalize the connectors, just to show those tree-huggers what they think of them. Until EVs not only have better range but general acceptance, I’m out on them.

That's unfortunate but all too real. It's the same reason I wouldn't split lanes on a motorcycle even if it's legal in TX, as it is in some states. At least not until it gains general acceptance by the motoring public.

Then you will be driving an ICE vehicle forever. There are too many dinosaurs out there who won't give up their ICEs and will continue to deliberately block EV spots and be proud that they are attempting to break the ear drums of surrounding individuals.
