map updates

Normally map updates have come in or around May and June and sometime in the late year. Not sure were the map updates are or are there any on the way that anyone has heard. I love to see a new ECM update to more go with what the 2022 Genesis was left out on and maybe get some of the features that it was supposed to come with. Like to see something that I can customize the screen with a custom screen saver. Maybe they will get rid of the music with the fire place and the rain sounds. Any thoughts??????

If I were you, I would wait a week or so before installing the new map update when it does come out.
There have been bugs in the past update and they had to redo it about a month later.
Let the others be beta testers and read this forum to make sure it is safe.

I have a 21 and I have never had one of the full updates, (twice a year) update automatically over the air. And I wait a long time to see how buggy it is before I update them. I have always had to do them myself. I have had other smaller updates, update over the air, but not the major map ones. That's a lot of data to send out. But I do believe that others have said that they got the major ones over the air.
Lets find out how we get them.

Mapnsoft says new version will be available. July 2024. I don’t know what happened this year.

Wow! What happened? I’m waiting for the update but I might as well install the current update now.

There's no excuse for this. We already get infrequent updates and now it's being delayed almost to the next release cycle

Yeah. They might as well skip the spring 2024 update and just release the fall October one.

IDK what happened I was waiting for the spring 2024 update but I might as well just install the 2023 update.

In reading other threads on Facebook and online forums, it has been released over seas. The middle East, Australia and New Zealand. So it is slowly coming out.
