  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Why do people hate Genesis so much?

People hate what they perceive is a threat to what they are heavily invested in; it would actually be worse if people didn't hate on Genesis.

For instance, over on Club Lexus - they have long, in depth discussions on Genesis/particular models.

Otoh, they don't really pay much attention to Infiniti and Acura.

Does anyone? Funny thing is I actually like the exterior look of the newer Infiniti SUVs. Unfortunately, that is all I like of them. The Acura SUVs are better and I do see more of them than of the Infiniti. On a very unscientific anecdotal basis I would say that out here I see luxury SUVs in the following volume order: Lexus; BMW; Mercedes; Genesis; Audi (Genesis and Audi seem pretty close); Range Rover/Jaguar (not counting the ubiquitous Waymo self driving Jaguars); Acura; Cadillac; Infiniti; and Lincoln (are they all rentals?). Very unscientific. Of the list, all but Lexus, Genesis, Cadillac and Infiniti are sold by and at the same set of foreign luxury dealerships (Penske Group) and the Lexus dealership is across the street.
