  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Year
2022
So no update this year in May. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts next update must be huge. I wish they do more than maps and update some of the other items and update the ecm or other computers to be able to get some new features. Anyone hear or read anything coming up

It has been released overseas in few places, Australia for one. The map update for them also included, wireless car plan and android auto.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I saw that see lots of people on Facebook talking about it. It really isn't a big change except wireless android auto. If you use that daily it's a good thing but some other updates would be nice. Especially for us that have to pay for service yearly not a lifetime free.

Check you Genesis Owners website, it became available for download today. And if you did not get the wireless update yet, its included.

I updated my 21 G80 today and gained full screen Android Auto, but none of my volume controls work. The steering wheel controls and middle console controls appear indicate volume increasing/decreasing, but the volume remains the same.

Yea, I downloaded it today too, but decided to wait to install it to see if crap like what happened to you happed. This happened last september and they came out with a update in October. I had not installed it yet so I was good.
Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up.

I just reinstalled using the same USB drive and it fixed my issue. Volume controls now work and full screen Android Auto is very nice.

I updated my '24 Elantra and after all that wait, all they did was add a "Sports" icon for scores and some useless map guidance stuff. I use AA because Hyundai map guidance system still sucks after all these years.

AA (add I'm sure CP) are light years ahead of the built in navi. I never use mine anymore, and don't even bother to update it.

After the first 3 years of included Connected Services, I paid for another 16 months. But during that time I lost the ability to say things like "navigate to Walmart" or "call John Doe mobile". It just stopped working. I had no reason to renew it, and AA works very well.

Even in the year 2024, when I've tried asking the Hyundai lady to "find" a place or something similar, 99% of the time she says "Sorry, I didn't understand you". Never have that issue when I use AA.

I still use the factory nav because it shows up in the HUD. If AA can do that, I would ditch it completely.

It does now, at least on 2024 G90's.
