I feel like I should just drive around aimlessly for hours in the hopes that the download will complete in the background - it doesn't download otherwise! Wish there was some way to determine whether the OTA download was actually occurring...it seems you only get informed that it's there after the fact and it's ready to install.

Sadly, driving around won't do anything. Historically, the OTAs are pushed several days and sometimes even weeks after the update is released via traditional download/install. Thus I wouldn't put my hopes in OTA coming through first, but it could happen!

If your vehicle does starts to download an OTA, the top right corner will show an icon containing two arrows forming a circle while spinning next to the cellular network indicator.

Sorry, I misread things - got distracted as the US version was from 2024 (but is April). We’re still showing the 2023 version for Canada.

Yep, I was noticing this as well. I guess my "hot diggity" bitmoji was premature!

The Canada version of the update was created in "July", so yeah, not the September one.


Also, when I click on this installer, it says I already have the latest version installed...ugh!

It appears that the update is now available for all US Genesis vehicles and all Canadian vehicles, except the GV60.

Saw someone on FB post that they called Mapnsfot and was told GV60 was going to be later this month....

I'm puzzled... this page lists all (canadian) vehicles eligible for download: List of eligible vehicles available to download

My understanding is that the 2023 and 2024 GV60 currently using software version JW.CAN.ccIC.001.007.231109 are eligible, hence should receive the latest version.

I did install the Navigation Updater and download the latest version to an USB drive just to realise, after 50 minutes of installation, that it just re-installed JW.CAN.ccIC.001.007.231109.

Is it possible that they posted the notice before making the updates available?

Correct, it appears to be the consensus for now.

The "List of eligible vehicles available to download" page is entirely unchanged from the April 2022 update.

The representatives at mapnsoft may not have known what they are talking about. They are ground level customer support and will not have the information we are looking for, and thus have provided us with a canned answer.

The update is coming, someone posted the notice without updating the actual files. Give them a few days to fix it.

We have waited a few month, a few more days of wait will not kill us.

I wondered if that was the case. Especially because the update page SAYS it's the wireless Apple Carplay update, but then they loaded the old file for us again accidentally. I wonder if person knows they did that....

Hopefully not too much longer. I noticed the G90 is also a ccIC car and it has the update there for USA:

It got version ccIC.001.009.240826 (which seems to indicate that it's from August 26 2024), so hopefully we get an even newer version for the GV60 (maybe with some of the bugs from the other regions ironed out).

Mine is doing this right now, so something is live.

JW.USA.ccIC.001.009.240826 is the navigation software version.

Holy moly. The entire written knowledge of humans isn't nearly that big! What comes with it? Hours of 4K video? It's hard to imagine that much code or vector graphics.
